Meet the Band

Teazers is a femme punk band from Kansas City, MO. Their music falls under the umbrella of punk while taking lyrical inspiration from rock, folk, hardcore, and more. Teazers stemmed from a desire to blend punk ideology with feminine-rooted topics in hopes of healing themselves and others, while bringing light to aspects of girlhood in current society.

  • Haddy Christa

    Guitar

    Haddy discovered her love for music at a young age when she realized writing songs could turn life’s worst experiences into something beautiful. She started playing guitar at age 15 when she picked up her dad’s acoustic to explore music as a hobby and it quickly became the most important and constant thing in her life.

    “I’m always in awe of Macee and Skye. Getting the opportunity to share my passion with my best friends and live out our dream together is something that’s very special to me.”

    Drums

    Macee was constantly surrounded by musicians in her family and she found her passion for music through them. As she got older, she discovered her love for songwriting, using music as a vessel for her desires and struggles.

    “My bandmates are so inspiring in how they handle their day to day lives. I appreciate them so much and our dynamic as a group. We’re always fully listening to each other.”

  • Skye Sherwood

    Bass

    Skye Sherwood is a production sound recordist and musician based in Kansas City. They graduated from KCAI in 2024 with a BFA in Filmmaking and a minor in Sound. Skye was gifted their first bass guitar at age 11 and instantly fell in love with stringed instruments.

    “I really appreciate how willing my bandmates are to try new things. We work together so well and I couldn't imagine doing this with anyone else.”
